TITLE OF ARTICLE: Brazilian Food and Customs

ANALYSIS:
This article was about the food in Brazil and how it incorporates customs and history. The food of Brazil is influenced by past conquerors like the Italian bringing pizza and pasta. Mealtime is a very important custom for Brazilians by spending time with family and friends. The so thought national dish of Brazil would probably be Feijoada. Their most common ingredients in food are rice, beans or corn. The type of food also varies by region. Different regions of Brazil have different outcomes with their agriculture causing their food to be made off of what the have the biggest supply of. One other big Brazilian custom is their markets for fresh produce which they call Feiras.
From my point of view, the food and customs in Brazil are very exciting and adventurous. Even though they grow an abundance of the same crop, they are easily able to make many different types of dishes. I observed that a lot of the recipes look like they were based on food typical in other countries. I thought the article itself was just standard. However, some points were very interesting like how resourceful they are to make food.
To conclude, food easily ties into the culture of Brazil. Culture is the behaviors common in a certain group of people. Food ties into the culture through customs and how many of the foods are similar through type of grown products. People are proud to have the certain type of food that are specific to their country which is an edxample nationalism. Food also plays a big role in the customs of Brazil and the official type of food.
